Basic Economics
Basic Economics is for those students might want to go deeper than the basic introduction to economics presented in typical high school textbooks. Carson's book draws very much upon history and government for an understanding of economics and, like his other books, reflects a conservative, Christian philosophy but with a strong emphasis on free enterprise and private property rights. It is recommended only for very capable students or else as a resource text for selected readings. An extensive study guide is included within the book itself.
