Those already familiar with Great Editing Adventures will find this a very similar resource for older students. There are two stories presented as only a few sentences per day. Parents/teachers can copy these onto a blackboard or whiteboard using only the teacher's book, or students can work directly in the student book. Story portions are written with various spelling and grammatical errors which students must identify and correct. They also must be able to define circled vocabulary words. Each lesson will take only a few minutes per day. Since many junior and senior high students already have a fairly solid foundation in spelling and grammar, this is a great way to review and drill without using a comprehensive program. It might also be used as a complement to a comprehensive grammar or spelling program. Skills covered are at the "teaching" level for students in grades 7 to 9, and at review level for older students.

The student activity book is optional. However, it saves you the work of copying each exercise onto the board and also provides space for the student to mark up and make corrections directly in the activity book. You still need the original book as an answer key.
