This is a well balanced U.S. history course, suggested for ninth grade, that is written from a conservative, Christian viewpoint. The book begins with an explanation of some worldviews with regard to history and civilization and maintains a clear and open-minded approach throughout. It covers early exploration up till modern times. It includes an extensive overview of the Constitution and the Bill of Rights—more than we typically find in a U.S. History course. The text does an excellent job of presenting the facts along with contrasting points of view. Each chapter includes a section of questions, both short answer and essay, based on subject matter, vocabulary, and Scripture. Quizzes, quarterly tests, and answer keys are all included.
