One Hundred Sheep, Skip Counting Songs
This skip counting audio CD and accompanying songbook differ from others in that the Biblical content of the songs overshadows the skip counting most of the time. The skip counting usually takes place in the choruses while verses offer solid Bible stories such as the story of the farmer sowing his seed, Jairus' daughter, Mary and Martha, and Zacchaeus. A variety of lively musical styles are used interspersed with a few slower-paced songs. This CD is appealing enough that you might buy it for the Bible songs alone. One possible drawback is that the Bible songs tend to crowd out the skip counting since they sidetrack a child's attention to the stories. Skip counting covers counting by numbers two through ten.
