Character Sketches

Any or all of these three Character Sketches volumes from Bill Gothard's ATI are perfect for family Bible study/together time.

In each "lesson," character traits are illustrated by animal stories, followed by biological studies. Then a Bible study explains particular character traits represented by the animals.

These are written on an adult level but work well for reading together. Books are illustrated, and the wildlife illustrations are especially appealing to children.

For young children, pick and choose from the biological information according to interests and attention spans. A unique feature children especially enjoy is the question posed at the beginning of each chapter and each Bible story. The questions provide clues that readers use to see if they can identify the answers before they are given in the book.

We began using these with our children when they were 8, 6, and 3. Our three-year-old was too young, but the others understood and learned more than I thought possible.
